This example project describes a simple flyback setup using a salvaged TV flyback transformer (FBT), producing about 20 kV output. Input voltage is 12 V DC and it draws about 1 A.
WARNING! This setup produces dangerous high voltage. The output voltage can be lethal. During experiments always keep one hand in your pocket, stay away from metal parts and never touch the setup while it is running. Test the circuit only in a safe, dry environment.
